G'day! well i'm finally in Australia after a long but very exciting and action packed trip back home via the United States. In total, since Moscow, i have taken 7 seperate flights totally over 34 hours of flying...and i got no frequent flyer points either becuase we were on the wrong airline or just because dad bought the cheapest of the cheap tickets which don't give you them......i feel robbed of the airlines to make me go through so much and get nothing...except being here, which isn't that bad ;)

I am going to the bank today with dad to sort some stuff out with my account, don't know what else we'll be doing. We had fish and chips last night for dinner....tasted so good but so familiar in my mind after not having them for like 3 years.

I had lots of fun in the US...i got to go to New York City for a day......that was just so awesome, it was just like the movies. I will post some pictures of the trip eventually.....

an just as i had thought, as soon as i left russia i started to miss it, and am looking for oppoputunies to go back and visit in the not to distant future....well i have to right quite a few emails now to quite a few people, so i best be off....that is the best thing about xanga though, everyone gets an email at the same time :D

thanks for reading...please post :D

Hi All,

Well after 3 months not updating, I reckon I can spare some of my time to update everyone about my life.....It is now 3 days until we move for the last time before we "really" move, back to Australia. After spending all of summer here in a friends apartment, we are moving to our guest apartment becasue the family is coming back. Luckily we only have a few suitcases to take over there, because everythign has already been sent to Australia.

I got accecpted into the school I wanted to go to in Melbourne. Donvale Chrisitan College will be the place I should complete highschool. Apparantly it is a good Christian school with devotions before homeroom and everything, so am hoping it will be alot like Hinkson, just minus the Moscow part. It's also a "laptop" school, so they give me a laptop, and every other student a new laptop at the start of the year which you can take home with you, not just for school work at school...woohoo.

My summer has been alright i reckon, mainly the start. We spent almsot 1 month in Europe. Back in Moscow i did a few random things such as Jet Skiing , touring the Kremlin and playing 10 games of air hockey in a row. And last week me and my mum went to Yaroslavl and Rybinsk. Two towns like 300km from Moscow. We spent 3 days there, and on one of those days i got pretty sick. We think it was from the wild berries I was fed out at a dacha. Apparently the acid rain makes them a little off? this time of year.....Since that trip i haven't done anything, jsut preparing for my next world wind adventure. Just becasue we are leaving for australia in 3 weeks doesn't mean we are arriving there the next day. We get into australia on the 21st of september i think. We will be spending 2 and a half weeks in the US. We are staying in DC for a couple of days, so i persuaded my dad to do a daytrip to New York. It worked, we going for a day. Bus up, spend all day there, bus down....it will be a looooong day, but i'm sure it will be worth it.

Well I best be off now, and i hope everyone has a great last 2 weeks of their summer break. I'm not going to re-read what I have just written, so please exuse the spelling mistakes

Laters, Michael

Two more weeks of school left, two more weeks of Hinkson left. The next two weeks a packed full of stuff needed to be finished. Semester Bible paper is due on Friday, which would have been easier if we were nto going to be moving apartment on thursday night. I have packing up my room every now and then, and only realised now that we say bye-bye to this flat in 4 days.....and my room has to be all packed and ready to go. Also found out that a couple days after we move into the new place, our hto water gets turned off. It falls on my exam week, so I have to have cold showers for it. Boohoo. Mum might boil some hot water to splash over my face with or something or rather. I just can't wait for school to be over, and I can rest and enjoy break. One week after I'm done, we head over to Germany/Austria for Fiona's grad, am looking forward to it alot!

Anyway, I'll update after school is done, see how much more exciting my writing style will be by then, compared to now.

Later everyone,

Michael
